Voluntary Debt Resolution (Nin-i Seiri)

For voluntary debt resolution, the handling fee is generally 33,000 yen to 55,000 yen (tax included) per creditor, depending on the number of creditors and the specifics of the case. In addition, actual expenses (such as postage for correspondence with creditors) will be charged separately.

Attorney fees may be paid in installments depending on the client's financial situation. However, actual negotiations with creditors for debt resolution will begin after the full attorney fee has been accumulated. Even in such cases, a notice of representation will be sent to creditors promptly after the retainer agreement is executed (even before attorney fees are fully paid), so payment demands from creditors will stop. Please rest assured.

If overpayment to creditors is discovered, a separate success fee will be charged based on a portion of the amount recovered by the attorney from the creditors, in addition to the above handling fee.

Personal Bankruptcy (Jiko Hasan)

For personal bankruptcy, the retainer fee is generally 330,000 yen (tax included) (however, fees may be higher for sole proprietors or other complex cases). There is no success fee.

In addition, actual expenses payable to the court (revenue stamps, postage, and trustee compensation, etc.) will be charged separately. In cases involving a trustee, the trustee compensation payable to the court amounts to 200,000 yen or more (in cases of simultaneous closure (doji haishi), trustee compensation is not required). These details will vary depending on your circumstances and will be explained during your consultation.

Attorney fees may be paid in installments depending on the client's financial situation. However, the actual bankruptcy petition will be filed with the court after the full attorney fee has been accumulated. Even in such cases, a notice of representation will be sent to creditors promptly after the retainer agreement is executed (even before attorney fees are fully paid), so payment demands from creditors will stop. Individual Rehabilitation (Kojin Saisei)

For individual rehabilitation, the retainer fee starts from 550,000 yen (tax included), depending on the number of creditors and the specifics of the case (such as whether a special housing loan provision applies). There is no success fee.

In addition to the retainer fee, actual expenses payable to the court (revenue stamps, postage, etc.) will be charged separately. Details will be explained during your consultation.

For corporate bankruptcy, the retainer fee starts from 550,000 yen (tax included), depending on the number of creditors and the total amount of debt. The specific amount varies based on the scale of the company and will be explained during your consultation. There is no success fee.

In addition to the retainer fee, actual expenses payable to the court (revenue stamps, postage, and trustee compensation, etc.) amount to 200,000 yen or more. These amounts also vary depending on the company's debt situation and will be explained during your consultation.

These costs may be covered by accounts receivable already deposited in the company's account or expected future receivables. If tax authorities seize accounts receivable before you consult with us, those funds can no longer be used for attorney fees. Please consult with us as soon as possible before that happens.

① Fees for Pre-Indictment Defense Activities (Investigation-Stage Defense)

These are the fees for defense activities from the time of arrest until a disposition such as indictment or non-indictment is made. During the period from arrest until disposition, we provide all necessary defense activities throughout the period of physical detention.

i. Initial Visit Fee: 33,000 yen (tax included)

* This fee applies when you want an attorney to visit the detained person before formally retaining our services.
* If you formally retain our services, this fee will be credited toward the retainer fee below, so no additional payment is required.

ii. Retainer Fee

* A "straightforward case" refers to a case in which the complexity, difficulty, or volume of work is not expected to be significant. * In the event of re-arrest or re-detention, an additional retainer fee will be charged based on the case type described above. However, the additional retainer fee may be reduced to a fair and reasonable extent depending on the circumstances of the case.

② Fees for Post-Indictment Defense Activities

These are the retainer fee and success fee for defense activities in preparation for trial after indictment.

If we have been retained since the pre-indictment stage and continue to represent the client after indictment, the following additional fees will apply.
