Many of you visiting this page are probably feeling anxious about some kind of legal issue and have come here because you want to consult with an attorney.
I have been advising and helping resolve issues for people facing legal problems that anyone may encounter in their daily lives — including relationship and divorce/family matters, inheritance issues, traffic accidents, workplace disputes, loans from friends, problems at a child's school, criminal cases, and more.
Through these experiences, I have come to believe that even problems that appear similar on the surface can differ in their causes and severity from case to case, and that proper resolution requires a thorough understanding of the facts and appropriate action tailored to the circumstances of each situation.
And one thing that can be said about any legal issue is this: the sooner you consult an attorney, the less burden and stress you will have to endure.
Our office (Yaizu General Law Office) is a law firm that was first established in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in September 2016. In principle, all three attorneys at our office are available to provide legal consultations so that we can offer the most appropriate legal advice based on the nature of your inquiry. We have a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere at our office, so if you have any concerns, please feel free to come and talk to us.
Self-Introduction
My name is Hiroyuki Beppu. After graduating from Kyoto University, I worked at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. for over six years, during which I studied Malaysian culture and other subjects for one year at the National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) as a company-sponsored exchange student.
After that, I studied law at the Waseda University Graduate School of Law and passed the bar examination to become an attorney.
At the beginning of my legal career, I was involved in corporate law at a major law firm in Tokyo. After transferring to a firm in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in November 2014, I have primarily handled general civil cases related to everyday life, such as divorce, inheritance, and traffic accidents. I am therefore able to provide accurate advice on a wide range of legal issues for both corporations and individuals.
In September 2016, I opened the first-ever law office in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
As an attorney, I hope to make use of my experience to date, to stand alongside the people and businesses of Yaizu City and the surrounding municipalities, and to contribute to the peace and well-being of the community.

What kind of image do you have of attorneys?
Attorneys on TV dramas are often played by handsome actors and seem cool, but in reality, most people have never met an attorney in person — they seem intimidating, unapproachable, or even suspicious... Don't you think so? I myself had never met an attorney until I entered university, so I shared that same impression.
But the reality is nothing like that. Of course, there may be some attorneys who fit that stereotype, but that comes down to their individual personality and character. Once you actually interact with us, I think you will feel, "Oh, they're not so different from me."
I am not the kind of grand person who can make the whole world happy. Still, when someone who has consulted me or is involved with me stumbles or feels anxious, I want to help them find a solution together and improve their situation even just a little. That is the spirit with which I approach my work every day.
If you are facing any kind of trouble, please do not hesitate to contact our office. It is natural to feel nervous when reaching out to someone you have never met — not just attorneys — but there is nothing to worry about.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Self-Introduction
My name is Norihiko Mihara.
I was born in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and lived there until I graduated from high school.
In high school, I was a member of the concert band and played the alto saxophone. I often went to cheer at baseball and soccer games, but since those were always in the middle of summer or the dead of winter, I never want to do that again (laughs). After graduating from university, I hadn't played my instrument at all, but I picked it up again as a hobby after starting my career.
During my university years, I joined a study circle for the bar examination. A "study circle" sounds quite stiff and serious, but looking back now, all I really remember is having a great time drinking with the friends I made there... I still enjoy drinking, and I often go out to bars and izakaya by myself, seeking conversation with the owners and other customers (if you know any good places, please let me know!).
I lived in Tokyo for nearly ten years after going to university, but I returned to Shizuoka in 2016.
At the beginning of my career as an attorney, I worked at a law firm in Tokyo that specialized in corporate bankruptcy, where I developed my expertise. Afterward, wanting to tackle a wide range of legal issues as an attorney — preferably in my hometown of Shizuoka — I transferred to a law firm in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City. After the transfer, I gained experience across many fields, including not only corporate bankruptcy but also general civil matters such as divorce, inheritance, and traffic accidents, as well as criminal cases and corporate law.
In June 2019, I joined Yaizu General Law Office. If you are facing any legal issue that threatens your daily life, I am here to help resolve it. I look forward to working with you.

Message to Clients
What I have come to deeply appreciate through my experience as an attorney is that the best approach to resolving a dispute is to act as early as possible by: (1) determining a strategy, (2) establishing a clear path forward, and (3) taking action. In legal disputes, an attorney can assist at each of these stages to ensure the process moves forward smoothly.
The threshold to our law office is low. Based on the details of your consultation, we will candidly explain the available strategies, potential paths, and likely outcomes. If you decide to retain our services, we will begin work promptly and move toward resolving the dispute.
Some of you may hesitate to seek legal advice, wondering whether your issue is actually a legal matter or whether it is even worth consulting about. In such cases as well, please come to us first. We hope you will leave feeling reassured after hearing our explanation.
Self-Introduction
My name is Yu Yotsumoto. I graduated from Todaiji Gakuen Junior & Senior High School in Nara Prefecture, and then from the Faculty of Law and the Graduate School of Law at the University of Tokyo, after which I passed the bar examination and became an attorney.
At the beginning of my career, I worked at a mid-sized law firm in Tokyo, where I was involved in a wide range of cases — not only corporate law but also general civil matters including real estate, divorce, and inheritance. Afterward, having developed an interest in regional revitalization and the operations of local governments, I worked for two years starting in July 2016 as a fixed-term public servant at the Kanoya City Hall in Kagoshima Prefecture, handling the city's internal legal affairs.
In July 2018, I joined Yaizu General Law Office. Going forward, I hope to support the daily lives of the people of Yaizu City and the surrounding region, and to contribute to the development of the community as a way of making Japan an even more vibrant place.
